Frequently asked
Pricing questions
A line of business is a distinct reserve segment you run a development triangle for. Examples include Commercial Auto, General Liability, Workers Compensation, and Property. If you currently maintain a separate IBNR spreadsheet for a segment, that counts as one line. Sub-segments that roll up into the same triangle do not count separately.
The export includes every model run with its input parameters, method selection rationale, development factor selections, tail factor assumptions, credibility weights applied, and the identity and timestamp of the actuary who approved the run. PDF export follows a structured narrative format; JSON export provides machine-readable structure for integration into your existing regulatory reporting workflow.
Annual contracts include a 90-day early termination window with written notice. Mid-contract upgrades (Starter to Professional, or Professional to Enterprise) are processed immediately and prorated. We do not charge downgrade fees within the first 90 days if the product does not fit your workflow after a full quarter of use.
Onboarding takes 2 to 3 days for Starter, 3 to 5 days for Professional. Our actuarial engineering team works directly with your lead actuary to configure your model suite, map your data sources, and run a parallel close alongside your existing process. You do not go live until your team has verified the outputs match your established reserve estimates within acceptable tolerance.
All customer data is stored in Seoul, South Korea (KR data residency). We do not replicate to non-KR regions by default. Enterprise plans can specify data residency requirements as part of contract terms. Our infrastructure runs on financial-grade cloud with encryption at rest and in transit.
Yes. We offer a structured 30-day evaluation for qualified carriers. During the evaluation you run HyperCal in parallel against one live quarter on one line of business, using your own historical triangles. There is no charge for the evaluation period. Evaluations are limited to teams where we believe the fit is strong based on your close cycle description. Use the contact form above to request an evaluation.
