Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-03-07
This Cookie Policy explains how HyperCal Co., Ltd. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on hypercai.org. It supplements our Privacy Policy. The hypercai.org website is a B2B information and access portal for insurance carriers evaluating or using the HyperCal actuarial automation platform. Cookie use on this site is limited accordingly -- we do not run advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking.
1. About This Policy
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognise your device across requests within a session or over multiple visits, store preferences, and measure how the site is used. On hypercai.org, cookie use is confined to three purposes: keeping sessions functional, remembering your cookie-banner acknowledgement, and collecting anonymised analytics on page visits to help us improve the site.
This site operates a notice-only cookie model consistent with the framework applicable under Korea's PIPA to B2B commercial websites. A banner appears on first visit to inform you of cookie use. You can opt out of analytics cookies through that banner or at any time via the cookie preferences link in the site footer.
2. Cookies We Set
| Category | Cookie name / description | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session state and CSRF protection tokens for authenticated platform users; cookie-banner acknowledgement flag (cookie-banner-dismissed-ts) |
Session or up to 6 months (banner flag) |
| Preferences | Interface state preferences (e.g., navigation state). No language or display theme cookies are currently set. | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Anonymised page-visit and referral analytics to help us understand how actuarial teams find and use the site. No personally identifiable tracking. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing / advertising | Not used. No advertising networks, remarketing pixels, or cross-site tracking are deployed on hypercai.org. | n/a |
3. Notice and Choice
This site uses a notice-only banner. Non-essential cookies (analytics) may be active on your first visit. If you dismiss the banner, your preference is stored for six months. You may reopen the cookie preference panel at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer.
To opt out of analytics cookies: open the cookie preferences panel and select your preference, or configure your browser to block third-party cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent authenticated platform access from functioning correctly.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Where we use a third-party analytics provider, that provider may set cookies under its own domain. We have written agreements with all such providers limiting data use to analytics services on our behalf, prohibiting use for the provider's own advertising, and requiring anonymisation of IP addresses. We do not currently use social-media sharing widgets, advertising networks, or external video embeds that would introduce additional third-party cookies.
5. Managing Cookies
- Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page to revisit your analytics opt-out choice at any time.
- Your browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies at the browser level. For instructions specific to your browser, see aboutcookies.org.
- If your browser transmits a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, the cookie banner script will suppress analytics initialisation regardless of any prior dismissal state.
6. Cookies on the HyperCal Platform (Authenticated Sessions)
When you sign in to the HyperCal platform via the /access/ portal, session-management and security cookies are set to maintain your authenticated session and protect against cross-site request forgery. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function and cannot be opted out of while using an authenticated session. They are cleared when you sign out. These platform-session cookies are separate from the website analytics cookies described above and are governed by the carrier service agreement.
7. Changes and Contact
The Company may update this Cookie Policy when cookie usage changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revision. For questions about this policy, contact:
